§ Q.01When can I actually start using this?+
Q1 2026. We’re in private beta now — join the waitlist and we’ll email you a setup link the moment your account is ready, in the order you signed up.
No card needed to join the waitlist. You’ll only enter payment details when you actually log in for the first time.
§ Q.02What counts as a "contract" for the monthly limit?+
One contract = one document you upload for full review. So a 40-page MSA counts as one. A 2-page NDA counts as one. A 60-clause vendor agreement counts as one.
Re-reviewing the same document after redlines doesn’t count again. Comparing two versions of the same contract doesn’t count again. Asking the AI assistant questions about a contract doesn’t count.
If you blow through your limit in a given month, we won’t lock you out — we’ll email and ask if you want to bump up to a higher tier or buy a top-up pack.
§ Q.03Do you really not train on my contracts?+
Correct. We don’t. Not for marketing reasons — for engineering reasons.
Your contracts go to Anthropic’s API for inference, with their zero-data-retention setting on. They’re not stored, not logged, and not used to train Claude. Within our own systems they’re encrypted at rest and only accessible to your team and (when you ask) our support staff.

§ Q.04What's the difference between Solo and Team, really?+
Solo is one person, one playbook, one audit trail. Team is shared playbooks, role-based access, calendar integrations, and a real audit log you can export.
Most founders and fractional GCs start on Solo. You move to Team when there’s a second person reviewing contracts who needs to land at the same answer you would.
You can upgrade in-app at any time — we’ll prorate the difference.
§ Q.05Why no free plan?+
Two reasons. First: we use a frontier model (Claude) on every review. That has a real per-contract cost — there’s no version of “free” that doesn’t either lose money or degrade quality.
Second: a free plan would attract a lot of people who don’t actually have a contract problem, and we’d end up building for them instead of you. We’d rather charge a fair price and ship features that move your needle.
If price is the blocker, talk to us. If you’re a non-profit, a startup at pre-seed, or a solo practitioner getting started, drop us an email — we have programmes for that.
§ Q.06Can I switch plans mid-month?+
Yes. Upgrade mid-month and we’ll prorate the difference and bill it on your next invoice. Downgrade and the new price kicks in next billing cycle. Cancel and you keep access until the end of the period — no clawback.
§ Q.07What about annual billing — is there a discount?+
Yes. Annual billing is 10 months for the price of 12 — so roughly a 17% discount. It’s available on Solo and Team plans, and standard on Enterprise. You can switch from monthly to annual at any time from settings.
§ Q.08Do you sign DPAs and MSAs?+
Yes — we counter-sign our standard DPA on Team and above (it’s modelled on the EU SCCs and UK IDTA). For our standard MSA we’ll counter-sign on Enterprise. For your paper, we’ll review on Enterprise plans only — and yes, we use our own product to do it.
